Our Leadership Group

Ann Quiring – Ann has been working for nonprofit companies since 2007 after moving to Moseley from her hometown of Raleigh, NC, in 2006. She began working at the Midlothian YMCA in the aquatics department and has worked with the Active Adults program and Wellness departments ever since. In 2012, Ann was approached by the board president for FC Richmond Soccer Club about taking on a new project: serving as its manager of charitable gaming. This is FC Richmond’s most prominent fundraising project and currently operates two evenings a week. Ann will tell you that it is equal to the whole operation of a small business – requiring all the same elements of dedication to be successful. This means that Ann is managing three nights of charitable gaming each week: two for FC Richmond and one for River City Loves Kindness.
Alexis Prutzman

Born and raised in Glen Allen, Virginia, I have dedicated the past four years to charitable gaming. My journey began as a volunteer, and within just two years, I took on the responsibility of running my charitable bingo game for Richmond Lodge No. 1 of the Good Lions. Currently serving as Lieutenant Governor of this board, I am a passionate advocate for charities across the Commonwealth of Virginia.

In my capacity as President of the Virginia Charitable Gaming Association, I work to amplify the voices of nonprofits that rely on gaming—such as bingo, poker, and electronic pull-tab machines—to fundraise and sustain their missions. I am dedicated to ensuring that these organizations are recognized as vital contributors to their communities and have the influence they deserve within government agencies.

I believe that misinformation, bureaucratic inefficiencies, and communication barriers can stifle the potential of nonprofits. My mission is to dismantle these obstacles, forging stronger partnerships between charities and government entities, and empowering nonprofits to serve as pillars of their communities through effective advocacy and collaboration.
